Coach Jerrel Monday Announced as Talent Scout for 2026 All State Game

Coach Monday is a 1× State Champion — Football and currently serves as Needwood Middle School Football Coach — 2024–Present in Brunswick, GA. His résumé also includes 2× District Champion — Football and 1× South Regional Middle School Basketball Champion. Jerrel Monday is experienced in developing game plans, scouting opponents, player development, and building a winning team culture, a combination that produced championship results at the middle school level.

As a Talent Scout for ASG Florida Football at the Fort Lauderdale event in 2027, Monday will identify and nominate deserving athletes in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades who demonstrate exceptional skill and character. He will act as a gatekeeper for the selection committee, scouting beyond the usual hotspots to find kids in small towns and underfunded programs who otherwise risk remaining overlooked. Monday’s work will include validating prospects, protecting the integrity of the selection process, and helping talented players in places like Brunswick, GA get the recognition they deserve.

Monday coaches 6th, 7th, and 8th graders and follows a clear creed: develop the athlete, build the character, and prepare young men to compete with discipline, confidence, and purpose—on the field and in life. He will leverage his experience in scouting opponents and constructing game plans to cut through hype and nominate athletes who truly belong on the All State Game stage. The All State Game has celebrated young athletic excellence since 2004, produced notable NFL alumni, and raised over $300,000 for foster care programs; as a Talent Scout, Coach Monday will also be building connections across the Florida football network and positioning himself for future roles from Community Champion to Regional Director.
