Coach Jacquie Cason Announced as Talent Scout for 2026 All State Game
Coach Jacquie Cason steps into her new role as a Talent Scout for the ASG Missouri Girls Volleyball, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a proven track record of excellence. Previously, she led the Missouri University of Science and Technology volleyball team from March 2024 to December 2025, where she served as the program's sole full-time coach. During her tenure, Cason recruited 13 athletes, developed three GLVC Players of the Week, and mentored a standout freshman who topped the conference in blocks per set in 2025.
Before her successful stint at Missouri S&T, Cason honed her skills as an Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Northwest Missouri State. Her role there was pivotal as she balanced the program's budget, developed strategic team blocking schemes, and served as a crucial point of contact for prospective student-athletes. At Northwest, she also took charge as the Camp Director, overseeing an impressive annual turnout of over 300 campers. Her coaching journey has taken her through various esteemed programs, including Eastern Illinois University, Nicholls State University, Texas A&M Commerce, and Sacred Heart Academy, where she played an integral role in capturing the 2016 Kentucky State Championship.
Cason's background as a former collegiate athlete at the University of Texas at El Paso adds another layer to her credibility. An accomplished student-athlete, she earned a spot on the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll every semester, demonstrating her academic excellence alongside her athletic talents. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's in Applied Health Science with a perfect 4.0 GPA from Northwest Missouri State.
In her new capacity, Cason will focus on identifying exceptional young talent across Missouri for the 2026 All State Game. She will work diligently to ensure that deserving athletes, regardless of their geographic location or financial background, receive the recognition and opportunities they deserve. "Excited to be a part of a historically good volleyball program and help push us to the next level," Cason said, reflecting her enthusiasm for the role. Her extensive network and experience will undoubtedly serve as an invaluable asset as she bridges the gap between untapped talent and statewide recognition.
