Coach Thomas Monnier Announced as Talent Scout for 2026 All State Game

Thomas Monnier, a seasoned football coach with 17 years of experience, has been appointed as a Talent Scout for ASG Indianapolis Football in 2026. Renowned for his methodical approach to developing young athletes and building winning cultures, Coach Monnier has left an indelible mark on middle and high school football in Indiana.

Currently serving as the 7th Grade North Head Coach for Team Indiana, Monnier is preparing to lead the 8th Grade team in 2026. His role includes evaluating athletes at TI camps and middle school games, conducting Zoom film sessions, and orchestrating team-bonding events. During his tenure at Northwest Allen County Schools, he set a remarkable 39–2 record over five seasons as the 8th Grade Head Football Coach at Maple Creek Middle School, where his leadership yielded multiple conference championships. Monnier also contributed to a 68–3 record over nine seasons as a 7th Grade Assistant Coach and showcased his strategic acumen as both a Defensive Coordinator and Special Teams Coach.

As an Offensive Coordinator and Line Coach at Blackhawk Christian High School, Coach Monnier has demonstrated his versatility across various coaching roles. However, his impact extends beyond record-setting statistics. As a board member and Director of Coaching for Charger Youth Football, Monnier spearheaded the implementation of the USA Football Heads Up program, enhancing player safety and aligning development across all levels from 3rd grade through high school.

In his new role as a Talent Scout, Monnier will serve as a vital link in the IN Football community, identifying and nominating standout athletes in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. "Success isn't easy, it is hard work," said Coach Monnier. "I believe that every player has value and it's not determined by playing time." His commitment to ensuring that talent in small towns and underfunded programs doesn't go unnoticed aligns perfectly with the All State Game's mission of cutting through the hype to spotlight deserving athletes. As Monnier joins the selection committee, he will help shape the future of Indiana football by ensuring that every young athlete gets a fair shot at success.
