Coach Mike Poster Announced as Talent Scout for 2026 All State Game

Mike Poster, a seasoned basketball coach and player, is set to make a significant impact as the newly appointed Talent Scout for ASG Minnesota Girls Basketball. With over 20 years of experience coaching basketball and football across Eden Prairie, AAU organizations, and various school districts, Coach Poster brings a wealth of knowledge to his latest role. His journey in the sport began as a child, and he honed his skills playing Division 1 basketball at Coppin State in Baltimore. Besides coaching, Poster has spent over two decades as a basketball referee, further deepening his understanding of the game.

Coach Poster’s coaching portfolio is impressive, having guided teams ranging from youth leagues to high school varsity. He’s been instrumental in nurturing talent, especially evident in his work coaching his son's traveling team over the past six years. "My goal is to continue to develop the skills and knowledge of the game while also ensuring their love and passion for the sport," said Coach Poster.
