Coach Donielle Rowell (duff) Announced as Talent Scout for 2026 All State Game

Donielle Rowell (duff) is stepping into a crucial role as Talent Scout for the ASG Georgia Girls Basketball event, bringing with her more than 15 years of coaching wisdom. Her journey in sports is as varied as it is impressive, having served as a head coach at Andrew College, a JUCO D1 school in Cuthbert, GA, and as an assistant coach at Randolph College, a D3 institution in Lynchburg, VA. Now residing in Lillian, Alabama, Rowell (duff) is eager to channel her extensive experience in this new endeavor.

A former scholarship track and field athlete at Liberty University, a D1 powerhouse, Rowell (duff) has cultivated an affinity for developing young talent. Her coaching philosophy centers on building athletes not just technically but also morally and mentally. "As a Coach, it is my goal to develop the whole athlete through a consistent, principled approach," she said. This philosophy will certainly inform her duties as a Talent Scout, where she is tasked with identifying middle school athletes who exemplify both skill and character.

Rowell (duff) is no stranger to the rigors of athlete development, having coached at every level from kindergarten to college. She also owns and operates Coach Dee's Volley Zone, a personal training and recruiting business, which allows her to shape athletes in both middle and high schools during their offseason. Her commitment to nurturing young talent is evident and goes beyond simple skill development.

In her new role, Coach Rowell (duff) will not only identify deserving athletes for the All State Game but also serve as a gatekeeper, ensuring that the selection process retains its integrity. Her presence is expected to bridge the gap for talented players in smaller towns or underfunded programs, helping them get the recognition they deserve. "Good, better, best never let it rest; till your good is better and your better is best," Rowell (duff) said, highlighting her drive to push athletes beyond their limits, no matter where they come from.
