Coach Colin Mcquillan Announced as Talent Scout for 2026 All State Game

Colin McQuillan, known for his strategic prowess and keen eye for talent, has been appointed as a Talent Scout for ASG Missouri Football in Kansas City, MO. With a decorated coaching career spanning over a decade, Coach McQuillan's experience and achievements make him a formidable addition to the ASG team. Currently serving as the special teams coordinator and working with outside linebackers at Missouri Western, McQuillan has transformed the Griffon Football program by elevating multiple specialists to All-MIAA honors in just three seasons.

In 2024, kicker Cody Watson was named a Unanimous Selection 1st Team kicker, and under McQuillan's guidance, he also earned 2nd Team All-Super Region 3, and Honorable Mention Don Hansen All-American honors. Notably, Watson was the first MWSU player since 2019 to be chosen as a 1st Team Academic All-American. The 2023 season saw similar success, with Watson again securing 1st Team honors while punter Evan Williams and returner Jalen Lampley received recognition as well.

Coach McQuillan's track record extends beyond Missouri Western. At Graceland University, he played a critical role in turning around a struggling defense, guiding them to top ranks in the Heart Conference for touchdowns scored and interceptions. His special teams units at Graceland also soared, boasting a No. 7 national ranking in kickoff return yards.

As a Talent Scout, McQuillan will harness his extensive experience to identify and nominate exceptional young athletes across Missouri, ensuring that deserving talents from small towns and underfunded programs get their moment on the All State Game stage.
