Coach Jamie Ferrazzano Announced as Talent Scout for 2026 All State Game

Jamie Ferrazzano, with his impressive leadership as Commissioner of the Orange County Youth Football League (OCYFL), has stepped into a pivotal role as a Talent Scout for ASG New York Football. His expertise in the sport, honed through his volunteer work as President and Coach for the Washingtonville Youth Football & Cheerleading League (WYFCL), is set to elevate the scouting process for the upcoming 2026 event in New York. The Washingtonville Wizards, under his guidance, have become a breeding ground for young football talent.

Ferrazzano's influence reaches beyond his hometown of Washingtonville, NY. The OCYFL, the largest independent youth football league in the Northeast, encompassing 17 town programs, over 450 USA Football certified coaches, and more than 2,200 youth players. When the All State Game scouts reached out to him, Ferrazzano seized the opportunity to highlight the breadth of talent within the OCYFL. His efforts have resulted in a partnership that will see the best athletes from the Hudson Valley and Upstate New York region compete against teams from the NYC area.

In his new role, Coach Ferrazzano along with OCYFL committees for each team will be a critical part of the nomination and evaluation process, ensuring that the most deserving athletes in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades gain recognition. As a Talent Scout, Ferrazzano and OCYFL will fight the "geography of obscurity," making sure that opportunities are not limited by zip code or financial status. His commitment to youth sports is further demonstrated by his involvement with the Big East Spring Tackle League and the successful Spring NFL Flag Football program in Washingtonville.

Ferrazzano's dedication extends into the colder months, where WYFCL organizes winter clinics and competitive cheer programs to keep the young athletes engaged.
