Coach Tyler Card Announced as Talent Scout for 2026 All State Game

Tyler Card, a seasoned football mastermind, is the new Talent Scout for ASG North Carolina Football. Known for his strategic prowess, Coach Card brings a wealth of experience from his tenure as Greensboro College's head coach since 2020. By 2026, he will have completed seven seasons with The Pride, a journey marked by significant individual achievements even during challenging team records. Notably, in 2024, Greensboro's defense was ranked fourth in interceptions and sacks in the USA South, showcasing Card's defensive acumen.

Before his time at Greensboro, Card had a transformative impact at Sul Ross State University as the offensive coordinator, guiding the team to its first winning season in 20 years in 2016. His tenure there was marked by coaching 32 offensive All-Conference players, demonstrating his ability to develop talent. Additionally, his skills in recruitment and academic coordination were pivotal in managing player development both on and off the field.

Card's roots trace back to Southern Virginia University, where he was a standout offensive lineman. His leadership as a three-year captain earned him NAIA All-Independent First Team honors and an Honorable Mention as an NAIA All-American. His experience as a player and a coach provides a unique perspective that he now brings to the task of scouting exceptional young talent in North Carolina.
